The size of an elephant and the weight of five, the RIX model 2DS is RIX’s largest industrial compressor made to date. The RIX model 2DS industrial compressor facilitates over 30,000 pounds of compressor to recycle argon for the atmosphere.

The RIX model 2DS is engineered with the most innovative, oil-free pneumatic technology. By recycling 99% pure argon from the atmosphere, the RIX compressor will help make some of the most untainted titanium powder for additive manufacturing and the largest 3d-printed titanium part for commercial use.
RIX IndustriesThe 2DS compressor unit is available partially or fully packaged to RIX standard configurations or to customer specifications. Electricmotors are coupled via heavy duty V-belt drives. Customer defined accessories are routinely incorporated into RIX packages, and the units are fully factory tested at design pressures and flow.
