Strengthening Marine Industry Collaboration: RIX Industries Joins the Marine Machinery Association
Strategic Partnerships Driving Efficiency, Readiness, and Long-Term Success in the Shipbuilding and Maritime Market
RIX Industries has joined the Marine Machinery Association (MMA), a global network of companies advancing marine technology, shipbuilding, and supply chain innovation. As part of our new membership, we recently hosted MMA members at our Sparks, NV facility to share insights on marine industry challenges, explore collaboration opportunities, and showcase our advanced gas generation and compression solutions.
The MMA is a global organization of OEMs, suppliers, technical consultants, and manufacturers dedicated to promoting and advancing the marine industry. Through sponsored meetings and networking events, the MMA brings together industry leaders to share insights, address challenges, and build stronger connections within the supply chain.
Our event introduced MMA members to RIX’s capabilities, the diverse markets we serve, and our long-standing presence in the marine sector. Discussions centered on shared challenges in shipbuilding and marine operations—and how innovation can help address them. Attendees also toured our Sparks facility, which was recognized for its cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail, and met with our supply chain team to explore potential collaborations.
Mike McNulty, Senior Director of Business Development for Naval Systems, hosted the meeting and represented RIX in delivering an overview of our solutions. We’re honored that Mike has been invited to present at the upcoming MMA Membership Meeting in Mississippi this October, hosted by the MMA and Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding. This annual event draws more than 200 representatives from shipbuilding, ship repair, NAVSEA, and other key marine sectors, providing an ideal forum to share the RIX story and connect with industry peers.
Joining the MMA underscores RIX’s commitment to collaboration, innovation, and supporting the advancement of the marine industry. We look forward to contributing to the association’s mission and strengthening our partnerships across the sector.
