Ford (CVN 78) is the latest edition to that tradition supplying low pressure air compressors, nitrogen generators and the liquid oxygen system to Ford. Ford was christened on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Newport News Shipbuilding – marking a significant milestone for the U.S. Navy.
