SELLER’S NOTIFICATION OF ESCAPEMENT (NOE)

Clause:

When a nonconformance is determined to exist or is suspected to exist on goods and/or servicesalready provided to Buyer under Contract, Seller shall provide notice within Buyer’s SupplierQuality supplier data system.Seller shall provide the NoE Submittal utilizing the Buyer’s Supplier Quality supplier data systemwithin three (3) business days of when the nonconformance was determined. If multiple programsare impacted, one NoE per program is required to be submitted. For submittals that are returned/ rejected back to the Seller, the Seller shall resubmit updated information within three (3) businessdays.If the nonconformance affects safety of flight or is mission critical; Seller shall immediately providethe NoE Submittal and all required information within Buyer’s Supplier Quality supplier datasystem.For more information on NoE submittals, Seller can access the NoE Module User Guide byfollowing these directions:• Access the Boeing Supplier Portal• Under the “Categories” header at the bottom of the page, click “Quality”• On the right hand side of the screen, near the computer icon, click on the “SQIS SupplierWebsite” link• From the SQIS Supplier Website, click on the “Notice of Escapement (NoE)” tab• From the NoE tab, click “User Guide”
