EFFECTIVE REVISIONS OF SPECIFICATIONS

Clause:

The Specification Effectivity Index (SEI) presents the effective revisions of specifications; these are instructions for which revision(s) is/are allowable for use: A. Supplier shall comply with the specification revision invoked in the Purchase Order, however, at the Supplier's discretion, an alternate revision designated within the SEI may be used, without further approval of Buyer, provided such is identified as allowable (interchangeable) by the "Interchangeability Code" within the SEI. B. If there is need to utilize a revision of a specification that is not identified to be allowable by the SEI, Supplier should submit a Vendor Information Request (VIR) to Buyer requesting authorization to use the alternate revision. C. When a specification revision is not cited in the Purchase Order, starting at the revision in effect at time of Purchase Order issuance, Supplier may use any revision identified to be allowable per the SEI. D. When a specification revision is not cited in the Purchase Order or the SEI, any issued revision may be used. The SEI is located at https://www.gdeb.com/suppliers/6_purchase_order_info/general/. Note: When the SEI is referred to above, the Supplier may use any version of the SEI, as long as it is dated within six (6) months before the date of the applicable Purchase Order - this includes versions of "EBP2P756".
