Compressors
RIX has
been a favorite choice of the US Navy for shipboard and submarine
compression requirements. RIX's 5R5 compressor uses a swash
plate design in this extremely quiet, compact, and low vibration
compressor that provides 100 SCFM of clean, dry air at 5,000
psig. RIX has hundreds of oil-free compressors in the US Navy
fleet, running the gamut from reciprocating low-pressure systems
to water-flooded screw compressors (the STAR and Marc 350)
to the 5R5 mentioned above. We worked hard to gain the Navy's
confidence and it shows in our products.
