RIX has
built scores of hydrogen compressors for applications as diverse
as refinery pilot plants to hydrogen car filling stations.
We even designed a cryogenic hydrogen compressor to take -420F
gas, saving over 60% on power costs in a smaller and less
expensive package. Our thorough understanding of hydrogen
compression has made us a key player when it comes to providing
safe, reliable oil-free hydrogen compressors. See the 2V and
4VX in the air-cooled section as well as our water-cooled
compressors – we apply all of these designs, and for
very small flows we use our mini-compressors, even up to 7,000
psig! Our hydrogen compressor clients include the big industrial
gas companies, oil companies, industrial hydrogenation plants,
fuel cell developers, hydrogen vehicle stations, and electrolysis
