compressors are normally manufactured in accordance
with the following:
Mechanical:
ASME
Welding
(piping): Welders are qualified to Mil-Std 278F
& ASME, Section IX Welding meets ANSI B31.3. NDT requirements
optional.
Pressure
Vessels: ASME, Sec. VIII, Div. 1, stamped as required
per code.
Heat
Exchangers: ASME. Stamping optional. TEMA optional.
Electrical:
NEC, NEMA, UL.
Quality
Control: RIX Quality Assurance Manual (March 1999).
Hydro
Testing: Gas side: 1.5 times MAWP (castings and
weldments only). Water side: 1.5 times MAWP (castings
only) 125 psig minimum.
Cleaning:
Oil-free: air sample verification available. Nitrox:
per RIX A5858-20 Oxygen: per RIX A5858-11.
Testing:
RIX forms A4514H, A5337F.
Painting:
RIX Paint Procedure M008(A).
API
618 Design variances available.

brazed copper, and stainless tubing with Ferulok flareless
fittings. Hose is clamped rubber or Parker hydraulic
with clamps or crimped swivel fittings.
